Affiliate programme
Affiliate terms
Last updated 16 June 2026. These terms govern your participation in the Marketeer Labs affiliate programme. By joining, you agree to them.
1. The programme
The Marketeer Labs affiliate programme lets you earn commission for introducing new paying customers to Marketeer Labs (“Marketeer”, “we”, “us”). Tracking, links, attribution, and payouts are operated through our affiliate platform, Rewardful. Joining is free and there is no minimum.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract. You need a genuine audience or channel (for example a newsletter, video channel, community, website, or client base) that overlaps with small businesses, founders, marketers, or SaaS. Most applications are approved instantly; we may decline or remove anyone at our discretion, for example accounts created only to self-refer.
3. Commission
You earn 20% of every payment a customer you referred makes to Marketeer, for the first 12 months of their subscription. Commission is recurring: you are paid each month the customer pays, not just once.
Commission is calculated on the net subscription amount actually received by us, excluding taxes (such as VAT), and after any discounts or coupons the customer used. If a referred customer upgrades, your commission grows with their new amount. Commission is not earned on your own subscription, on free trials that never convert, or on one-off charges that are not part of the subscription.
4. Attribution and the cookie window
When someone clicks your affiliate link we store a cookie in their browser for 60 days. If they start a paid subscription within that window, the sale is attributed to you. We use last-touch attribution: if a customer clicked more than one affiliate’s link, the most recent one before signup receives the credit. Attribution depends on the customer not blocking or clearing cookies, and on the sale completing through our normal Stripe checkout.
5. Payments
Payouts are made monthly by PayPal or Wise, once your available balance reaches £25. Commissions are held for 30 days before becoming available, so refunds and cancellations within that period can be netted off. You are responsible for providing accurate payout details and for any taxes you owe on what you earn. Where required, our payout provider will collect tax forms (such as a W-9 or W-8BEN) before paying you.
6. Refunds, chargebacks, and clawbacks
If a referred customer is refunded, charges back, or cancels and is credited within the earning window, the related commission is reversed and deducted from your balance. If your balance is negative after reversals, it is carried against future commission. Commission earned through fraud, abuse, or any breach of these terms may be withheld or reclaimed in full.
7. How you may promote
Promote Marketeer honestly, in your own voice, to people it can genuinely help. Be clear that you may earn a commission when you share your link, as required by the ASA (UK), the FTC (US), and similar rules. Only make claims about Marketeer that we make ourselves; do not invent features, results, or guarantees.
8. What is not allowed
The following will lead to commissions being withheld and may end your participation:
- Bidding on our brand terms (“Marketeer”, “Marketeer Labs”, “marketeerlabs.com” and close variations) in paid search or social ads.
- Running paid ads that send your affiliate link straight to our site, or that imply you are us.
- Spam of any kind: unsolicited email, DMs, comment-spam, or posting in places that forbid promotion.
- Self-referral, or referring accounts you control, to earn commission on your own subscription.
- Cookie stuffing, forced clicks, pop-unders, toolbars, browser extensions, or any tactic that drops our cookie without a genuine click.
- Coupon, deal, or cashback sites that intercept existing buyers rather than introducing new ones.
- Registering domains, social handles, or app names that include our brand or could be mistaken for us.
- Misleading claims, fake reviews, fake scarcity, or promising results we do not promise.
9. Use of our brand
While you are an active affiliate we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive licence to use the Marketeer Labs name and logo solely to promote us as an affiliate, following any brand guidance we provide. You may not register domains, social handles, or app names containing our brand, claim to be us, or imply a partnership or endorsement beyond the affiliate relationship.
10. Customer data and privacy
You must not collect, store, or misuse the personal data of people you refer, and you must comply with applicable data-protection law (including UK GDPR). Any reporting we show you in your dashboard is for your use in the programme only.
11. Independent contractor
You take part as an independent contractor. Nothing here creates an employment, agency, partnership, or joint-venture relationship, and you have no authority to act or speak on our behalf.
12. Term and termination
Either of us may end your participation at any time, for any reason, on notice. If you have followed these terms, commission already earned on legitimate referrals before termination will be paid in the normal cycle. If you breach these terms, we may suspend payouts and reclaim affected commission. On termination your right to use our brand ends immediately.
13. Changes to the programme
We may change the commission rate, cookie window, payout terms, or any part of the programme, or close it, by posting an update here or notifying you. Changes are not retroactive: commission already earned under the previous terms is honoured. Continuing to promote us after a change means you accept it.
14. No warranty and liability
The programme is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee any level of earnings, traffic, or conversion. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you under the programme is limited to the commission payable to you in the three months before the claim.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts. They sit alongside our main Terms of Service and Privacy Policy; if there is a conflict on an affiliate matter, these terms take precedence.
